The Pizzica
The Pizzica is an ancient dance of Salento and is linked to the ancient peasant world. During the summer season you can find an evening of Pizzica in every square of Salento. The term “pizzica” in Salento means “to sting” and in the case of music it refers to the sting made by the taranta, whose poison causes deep agitation and epileptic attacks in the human body. The dance is therefore seen as a liberation from inner tensions and conflicts.
The guests of the farm can take advantage of reserved lessons of pizzica and taranta given by an expert dance teacher. And then in the evening you can go directly to the village to go wild with lights, music and dances that fill the squares of the villages of Salento.
The cities of art, the villages and the baroque churches
The guests of the farm can visit palaces, castles and noble houses, accompanied by an expert tourist guide.
Not to be missed are Lecce, the queen city of Baroque art, Otranto, Gallipoli, Nardò, Maglie and the countless villages of Salento rich in history, culture and popular traditions.
During the excursions in the beautiful cities of Salento guests can have lunch in the traditional restaurants of the city visited and taste the typical Salento coffee and pasticciotto leccese.

Cooking classes
The farm organizes daily cooking classes for the preparation of fresh pasta: orecchiette, maccheroni and sagne ‘ncannulate, typical pasta formats of the Salento tradition. In addition, the farm also organizes cooking classes for the preparation of Salento vegetarian culinary specialities. Guests can collect directly from the organic garden of the farm the products of the land and then use them in the kitchen under the guidance of the chef. Guests can then enjoy at lunch what they have prepared and cooked themselves at zero km.
